When to Notify the School?
Parents/Guardians and School Staff should notify the school within 24 hours of receiving a positive COVID-19 test result or clinical diagnosis.
How to Notify the School?
Call 440-693-4125 ext. 125 to report a positive case. Leave a message if no one answers the phone. Your call will be returned within 24 hours.
COVID-19 Communication to Parents/Guardians and Staff
In the event a Positive Case of COVID-19 is reported to the district:
All students or staff identified as a possible exposure will be contacted by the school nurse and notified by an email.
A One Call Now message will be made to notify families and staff of an update to the COVID-19 Dashboard found here: https://www.bloomfieldmesposchools.org/Default.aspx
The Trumbull County Combined Health District will conduct further contact tracing to identify individuals who may have been exposed to COVID-19 and will communicate guidance to those specific individuals.

Please follow these steps to continue to be aware of your child’s health:
Continue to check your child for COVID-19 symptoms daily: fever or chills, new uncontrolled cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, new onset of severe headache, especially with fever.
If anyone in your household develops symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19, they should immediately isolate and call Trumbull County Health Department at (330) 675-2489. Also, contact your medical providers and notify the school.
Stay at home when you are sick.
As a precaution, consider postponing plans for play dates, family visits, and extracurricular and social activities.
