🎨☕ Creativity + Innovation in Bloomfield MS STEM! 🚁💡
Our Bloomfield Middle School students have been busy creating and exploring in Mr. Schnurrenberger’s STEM class! Students recently learned about the sublimation process and designed custom mugs, turning their ideas into real-world products through hands-on learning.
At the same time, another group of students has been taking flight—literally—by working with drones, learning about technology, engineering, and problem-solving along the way.
Small school. Big opportunities.
We’re proud of the creativity, curiosity, and skills our Cardinals are building every day! ❤️🖤

Our sophomore American History students recently took a trip to William McKinley Memorial Museum and the Replica Home to learn more about local history and President McKinley. It was a great opportunity for students to see what they’ve been learning about in class come to life and to make connections beyond the classroom.
Trips like this are a reminder of how valuable hands-on learning can be and how lucky we are to have meaningful learning opportunities close to home. ❤️🖤

🎶 Anastasia Walker and Ben Davis Earn High Marks at Solo & Ensemble 🎶
This has been a big year for our Bloomfield music department, and another milestone came this past Saturday as our students competed at the Ohio Music Education Association Solo & Ensemble Competition held at Warren Harding High School.
It has been several years since Bloomfield students have participated in this event, and thanks to the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Hall and our students, Bloomfield was proudly represented.
Sophomore Anastasia Walker performed on the clarinet, and freshman Ben Davis competed with a vocal performance. Both students earned an “Excellent” rating, just one level below the top score—an outstanding accomplishment!
Congratulations to Anastasia, Ben, and Mrs. Hall on this well-deserved success. Keep up the great work!
📸 Photos are from Community Night, where both students performed for our school and community. Ben was in costume for his upcoming performance in the school play.

🎯 6th Graders Learn Archery at Bloomfield HS 🎯
Our 6th graders had an exciting opportunity to learn the fundamentals of archery in Mr. Vegoda’s gym class this December. It was great to see students of all skill levels grow in confidence and ability as the unit progressed. Many students who began by learning basic safety and technique were soon hitting closer and closer to the bullseye!
The lessons were engaging, hands-on, and focused on skill development, teamwork, and persistence. A special thank-you to Mr. Vegoda for creating such a positive learning experience, and to Deputy Clark for stopping by to support and assist with the lessons.
Great job to all of our students for their effort and growth! 🏹

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, MRS. WHETSTONE! 🎉
What do teachers do when they retire?
They keep supporting students—of course! ❤️
This morning, members of the Trumbull County Retired Teachers Association, an organization with over 60 years of service, surprised Bloomfield Middle & High School teacher Mrs. Heather Whetstone with a $500 grant 🎭📚
Mrs. Whetstone applied for—and was awarded—this grant to further enhance her classroom and the Bloomfield HS/MS theater department, continuing her commitment to creativity, student engagement, and excellence.
We are proud of Mrs. Whetstone for going the extra mile for her students and grateful to the Trumbull County Retired Teachers for their continued investment in education.
👏 Way to represent Bloomfield!

🍁 Bloomfield HS Gets in the Thanksgiving Spirit! 🦃
We have so much to be grateful for here at Bloomfield High School, and today was the perfect day to celebrate! A huge thank-you to our amazing team from The Nutrition Group, who went above and beyond to make today special for our students with a fantastic Thanksgiving meal.
The principal even got in on the action—carving turkey for students! Word around North Bloomfield is that his meat-cutting skills might need a little… sharpening. 😂 But hey, it’s the effort that counts!
And did you know? Every student at both Bloomfield HS and Mespo Elementary can eat breakfast and lunch free of charge every single day! We’re thankful to be able to offer this opportunity to all of our Cardinals.
Happy early Thanksgiving from Bloomfield HS! ❤️🖤
