On Sunday, the OHSVCA District 1 hosted their annual Senior Classic All Star Game. Bloomfield was represented by Kathleen Miller and Madelyn Koon. Kathleen received 2nd Team, Division 4 and Madelyn received Honorable Mention, Division 4. So proud of you ladies and your hard work! (Kathleen even got her first career block in her final game!)

Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served. For one day, we stand united in respect for our veterans. This holiday started as a day to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country's service and was originally called Armistice Day. It fell on Nov. 11 because that is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. However, in 1954, the holiday was changed to "Veterans Day" in order to account for all veterans in all wars. We celebrate and honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Bloomfield High School wishes to recognize and thank the many men and women who have served, and currently serve, in our country’s armed forces. We honor them for their service, sacrifice, and love of country; understanding that we, as a nation, go about the business of our days while our military personnel work tirelessly to ensure we can do so. Thank you for your service. Thank you Veterans!
