Outback Ray's Amazing Animal Show was at our school today and we loved this extremely entertaining show! Students got to hold and pet these exotic animals! Thank you to our PTO for bringing this show to our school!





On Tuesday, the Cafeteria celebrated National Farm & Animal Day and National Gardening Month. Calvin the Cow came to visit during lunch and lucky tray winners helped plant veggies for students to watch grow.

Jr. High Track at Maplewood

National Honor Society students sponsored an Egg Hunt for our Mespo students this spring. While the weather didn’t cooperate for an outdoor event, they made the best of it and create some obstacles in the gym for students to search through. They hope to make this an annual event.

Preschool is getting ready for the solar eclipse. They made eclipse models in class.


The district is accepting open enrollment applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Open enrollment applications for the pre-school, kindergarten and grades 1-12 are being accepted. Applications from resident families are being accepted for pre-school and kindergarten.

The Board of Education and Administration presented a Certificate of Recognition to Audra Fenton at the March 21 meeting. Audra was recognized for her dedication and excellence while serving the district as the assistant treasurer and for her willingness to fill in for absent staff at Bloomfield High School. Audra does so many other good things for the district that are really appreciated and she needed to be recognized for her efforts. Congratulations Audra!
