Spanish students breaking their cascarones. Students read an article about cascarones which are eggs filled with confetti. This is a tradition in some Spanish speaking countries. Kids break the eggs over each other's heads and it is thought to be good luck.

The Bloomfield-Mespo Local School District was awarded a Certificate of Achievement at the Ohio School Boards Association Northeast Region spring conference held on March 27 for the Esports Club participation at the OSBA Capital conference student achievement fair held in November. Congratulations!!!


The Government, Financial Literacy, and Financial Algebra students took a field trip to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland to visit the Money Museum & Learning Center. Students learned about the Federal Reserve Banks and their role in monetary policy, identifying counterfeit money, budgeting, and the security that goes into protecting our money. The Bank of Cleveland moves trillions of dollars each week! Each student got to take home a bag of shredded money that was removed from circulation. Thank you to Mary S. for sharing the history of the building and explaining the role of the Federal Reserve to our students!
