Preschool spent September learning about apples. We compared colors, sizes, and weights. We graphed them and when we were done we chopped them up and made apple sauce. Yum!!!

🎓 Yesterday, 22 Bloomfield HS sophomores, juniors, and seniors had the opportunity to visit Ohio State University! Thanks to a grant through OSU, most of the cost was covered, allowing our students to explore campus and gain exposure to future opportunities after high school.
This year we are working to increase field trip opportunities so our students can experience a variety of colleges, careers, and pathways available to them after graduation. ❤️🖤 A huge thank you to our staff chaperones for helping make these experiences possible!

Students in Mr. Schnurrenberger’s Digital Technology class had the unique opportunity to interview Ohio State Senator Louis W. Blessing (District 8) about the recently passed cell phone usage ban in Ohio schools (Senate Bill 158). Senator Blessing, who serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Education Committee, shared his insights on the law, noting that it was designed to reduce distractions, improve focus, and provide consistency across Ohio schools.
Our students took the lead—contacting Senator Blessing, preparing thoughtful questions, and conducting a professional interview. They also asked him about his career in politics and what led him to support this legislation.

Grade 3-5 took a walking field trip over to the Mesopotamia Fire Department. The K-9 unit was from Windsor/ the Ladder truck came from Middlefield/ the EMS team came from Farmington and the rest was from the Mespo station. Thank you to Chief Loza for reaching out to our supporting emergency responders and having all the different equipment for our students to see. We loved it! The K-9 was amazing.

Our Cardinals hit the course this evening at Riverview Golf Club for their first match of the season. This marks the first time in years that Bloomfield has fielded a golf team, and our student-athletes have been working hard the past couple of months preparing for this moment. 🏌️♂️🏌️♀️
